Our principal health insurance products for the senior market are Medicare Advantage HMO and Private Fee-for-Service, Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage and Medicare Supplement. We distribute these products through a career agency system and an independent general agency system. Universal American's Medicare Advantage product line includes Today's Options®, a Private Fee-for-Service plan available in 35 states, as well as a growing portfolio of HMO plans in select markets in Texas, Florida, Wisconsin and Oklahoma. Prescription PathwaySM, our Medicare Part D product line, is offered through a strategic alliance with PharmaCare Management Services, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of CVS Corporation.
Collectively, our insurance subsidiaries are licensed to sell health insurance and life insurance in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. Our career agents focus on sales for Pennsylvania Life and Pyramid Life while the independent general agents sell for American Exchange, American Pioneer, American Progressive, Constitution Life, Marquette National and Union Bankers.
CHCS Services, our administrative services company, acts as a service provider for both affiliated and non-affiliated insurance companies for senior market insurance and non-insurance programs.
